In a land of golden lands and endless sun, young Koreola lives in a perfect garden. Her grandma, Nawa, uses her magic to keep the flowers blooming and the waters flowing. Inside this garden, Koreola is safe and never alone. But Koreola is restless. She wonders what lies beyond the horizon. To Nawa, the world outside is a place of darkness and danger. To Koreola, it is a place of freedom. One day, Koreola sees a twisted baobab tree standing in the distance. Its branches are dry and reaching, like fingers pulling at the sky. In that moment, her perfect world feels like a cage. She realizes that being "safe" is not the same as being "alive". This is a story of a girl caught between two worlds: the sky she loves and the roots she must find. It is a journey about growing up, letting go and finding the courage to reach for the "rain".
