After surviving a near-fatal car crash, McLean’s life takes a surreal turn when he is saved by the Umbrella Man, a faceless figure with flowing blond hair. But salvation comes at a cost: anyone who encounters the Umbrella Man slowly fades from memory, becoming one of the “Insignificants,” forgotten by all who once knew them. As McLean grapples with his vanishing identity, he discovers a hidden world where shadowy, corporeal creatures hunt and feed on the Insignificants. Isolated and desperate, he must navigate this supernatural underworld, piecing together the mystery of the Umbrella Man and the forces that sustain him.
